Bowline

Accessibility Statement

Last updated September 26, 2026

Everyone should be able to book a day on the water. We want bowline.fish, our booking pages and widgets, and the operator dashboard to work for people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control and other assistive technology.

Contact Bowline: support@bowline.fish (questions, privacy requests, accessibility help)

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. That includes readable color contrast, text that scales, pages that work with a keyboard alone, labeled form fields, clear error messages, and layouts that work on small phone screens.

What we do

Known limitations

Card entry fields in checkout are provided by Stripe inside a secure frame, and their accessibility is maintained by Stripe. Photos and trip descriptions are written by each operator, so their alt text and wording vary. If anything blocks you, tell us and we will help you finish your booking another way.

On the boat

Bowline runs the booking, not the boat. Vessel access, boarding, and accommodations on the trip are up to each captain. If you need an accommodation, mention it in the notes when you book or contact the operator directly using the details in your confirmation, so they can tell you what their vessel can support before you go.

Feedback and help

If you hit a barrier on any Bowline page, email support@bowline.fish with the page address and what happened. We aim to reply within two business days, and if you are trying to book a trip we will help you complete it.
